Delpozo fall 2013 documentary

Delpozo aims at becoming Spain´s nº1 luxury brand. Certainly the quality of design and manufacture are second to none. Showing the collections within New York  Fashion Week was a bold move, when it was only their second collection. The venue was spectacular ( Canoe Studios). A gorgeous wall- to wall flowered carpet was specially produced for the occasion . Lydia Zimmermann and myself made it through dire determination, as flights were cancelled the day before due to a spectacular snow storm. We arrived to Manhattan in the midst of it after quite an adventurous trip.

The show was a huge success. New York was impressed. This is the short documentary we produced:

This image video was shot at the same time as the image photos, by Juanjo Martinez.
Quite a challenging feat, requiring big- time team cooperation and small egos.

This image shoot was the first we shot for Delpozo with Javier Tomás - Biosca.

After the adventure of shooting for them on location in an abandoned house ( and suffering a lot for
the wonderfully haute couturish long gowns) last summer, the studio setting was
a most relaxing experience.

The pictures were used for their press - kit and web.

Crea Africa documentary

I thought it was a good idea to produce a short documentary hat would explain how Crea works.
They truly have a wonderful operation, creating work opportunities for many people, as well as using a lot of recycled materials.

It is a challenge to produce pieces that will meet the standards of western luxury brands, for whom they produce whole collections  and they do it all the time.

It was great to travel around Nairobi, visiting all the different workshops ( Glass, brass, bone..)
and meeting the artisans.

The video was shot and edited by Steve Muriungi and art- directed by me.

Crea Africa

There is in Nairobi  a wonderful accessories designer called Elisabetta Capollino. She has her own brand called Le collani di Betta  and I had featured many of her wonderful pieces in the different
shoots I produced for Fashion For Peace

Last year she invited me to art- direct all  visuals for  Crea Africa, a new operation she started with some associates . Crea Africa is a brand producing their own collections but they also produce accessories for some of the best western designers.

We shot in Nairobi, with an entirely Kenyan crew and I art- directed their new  web as well as producing a short documentary.

Again..we optimized the session by shooting not only photos but video as well.
