This was another version of Halloween perfume . The model and the team remain the same.

This video shows how we shot the Halloween  campaign.

It was the first time I worked both with the photographer ( Javier Tomás Biosca) and with the director Juanjo Martinez.

It was important  for me that these first making- of videos were very good, so I took care of every detail. The music was composed by Pablo hunwick, my son.

Tercer día en Nairobi con Zac Saitoti

Para la tercera sesión,  los vestidos que escogí eran largos y fluidos. Necesitábamos paisaje y , también, salir de Nairobi y respirar aire fresco. Fafa tiene una increíble red de amigos, por lo que rápidamente nos fue ofrecida una casa fantástica  a las afueras desde dónde trabajar..y para allí fuimos.

Fot the third session, I had chosen long and flowing dresses. We needed open landscape and we needed to get out of the city for a breath of fresh air. Fafa has an incredible web of friends and supporters, so, very quickly we were offered a great house on the outskirts of Nairobi to work form, so off we went.

Fafa , Nairobi, with Emmanuel Jambo

This was the second shoot I produced/

art directed/ styled for Fafa. We shot at a wonderful art center, where young Kenyan artists can have their own  workshop as well as great affordable meals.

We used some of the paintings as backdrops and a mixture of models and Kenyan celebrities.

Estas fotos pertenecen a la segunda sesión que hicimos en Nairobi para Fafa. En esta ocasión disparamos en un centro de arte dónde jóvenes¡s creadores keniatas pueden acceder aun espacio de trabajo propio y comida a muy buen precio. Utilizamos algunos de los cuadros como fondo y una mezcla de modelos y  "celebrities" de allí.

Back in Nairobi/ En Nairobi otra vez

Once more I was in Nairobi, collaborating with Fafa ( Festival for African Fashion and Arts).
Created by my dear friend Ann Mac Creath, who lives in Kenya and is a brilliant designer herself ( Kiko Romeo is her own brand) , Fafa produces Fashion for Peace, an ( almost) yearly fashion platform for African designers.
I have been lucky enough to be able to meet a lot of them, while producing high- end shoots for them.
This time, we worked with  3 different Kenyan photographers. These  photos are by Barbara Minishi. The full shoot is in my web.

It was  done in a building site  and was conceived as an editorial, playing on some of the very graphic outfits I saw- Each outfit is by a different designer ( again,  full credits in my web).
Ajuma, the  female model, has worked internationally at a very high level.

De nuevo estuve en Nairobi, colaborando  con Fafa ( Festival para la moda y el arte en Africa).
Creado por mi amiga Ann Mc Creath, que hace años que vive en Kenya, dónde también diseña y tiene su propia marca, Kiko Romeo. Fafa produce una plataforma llamada Fashion For Peace : Un desfile que sucede ( casi) cada año dónde reúne a algunos de los mejores creadores del continente.

He tenido la suerte de conocer y colaborar con muchos de ellos, creando  imágenes.

En esta ocasión la fotógrafa es Barbara Minishi, y la sesión entera
( así como todos los créditos de ropa y equipo)  están en mi web.
Ajuma, la modelo, ha trabajado internacionalmente  a un nivel muy alto.

Renewing Halloween image

Halloween is a very popular perfume, sold world- wide.
The image needed renewing, but some of the visual references needed to stay.

We were lucky to have Josephine Sveningen, a very young nordic beauty who ( almost) won the Elite
competition.
